Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the rules for using harbenOS (the “Platform”), operated by Charlie Medwin, a sole trader trading as “harbenOS”. It applies to everyone who accesses or uses the Platform. If you use the Platform under an agreement between harbenOS and your organisation, that agreement also applies and takes precedence where the two overlap.

Permitted use

You may use the Platform only for legitimate business purposes, in accordance with this policy, any applicable agreement, and all laws and regulations that apply to you — including any financial-services or professional obligations relevant to your organisation.

Prohibited conduct

You must not:

  • Access, or attempt to access, any account, data, or part of the Platform you are not authorised to use, or share your sign-in credentials with anyone else.
  • Probe, scan, or test the security of the Platform, or attempt to bypass or defeat any authentication, access control, or usage limit, without our prior written permission.
  • Introduce malware or other harmful code, or otherwise disrupt, overload, damage, or impair the Platform or interfere with any other user’s use of it.
  • Copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or carry out automated or bulk extraction of the Platform or its data, except through the interfaces we provide and as permitted by your agreement.
  • Upload, store, or transmit content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or harmful, or that you do not have the right to provide, or that infringes the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
  • Misuse the AI features — including submitting content you have no right to share with a third-party AI provider, attempting to access other users’ data, or generating unlawful content.
  • Use the Platform in any way that causes you or your organisation to breach a law, regulation, or regulatory obligation that applies to you.

Your responsibilities

  • Keep your sign-in credentials secure and confidential.
  • Ensure you have the right to upload and process any content you put into the Platform, including any personal data it contains.
  • Review AI-generated outputs before relying on them — they can be inaccurate or incomplete, and you remain responsible for how you use them.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and with your own regulatory and professional obligations when using the Platform.
  • Promptly report any security vulnerability, suspected breach, or misuse to charlie@harbenos.com.

Monitoring and enforcement

We may monitor use of the Platform to maintain security, ensure availability, and check compliance with this policy. If you breach this policy, we may suspend or terminate your access, remove offending content, and, where appropriate, report the matter to the relevant authorities. Where practical and lawful, we will give notice before taking such action, but we may act immediately where there is a risk to the Platform, its users, or others.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above.
